Why is the Web Getting Worse?

The host of the show went along with the concept that the issue is that the Web is worsening and, as Marissa suggested, he asked her why the web worsening.

Mayer provided an explanation that deflects from Google and lays blame for poor search results page on the web itself.

She discussed the reason the web is worse:

“I believe due to the fact that there’s a great deal of economic reward for false information, for clicks, for purchases.

There’s a lot more fraud on the web today than there was 20 years ago.

And I believe that the web has actually had the ability to grow and develop as quickly as it has because of less regulation and due to the fact that it’s so international.
